Worst Job Ever

Last night at book club, I was reminded of one of the jobs I took during the summer when I went to school in Missoula. If any of you have searched for summer jobs in Missoula, you will know that there are 4700 people applying for every crappy job out there, and you can expect pay of about $6-$7/hour. It's fun.

I was 19 and working the front desk at the fabulous Creekside Inn, next to Finnegans.

Some solid gold hits from my days at Creekside:

"There's always rooms at the Sleepy Inn."

"If their shopping cart doesn't have a license plate, they can't stay here."

"Um, there appears to be vomit on these sheets."

Ah, Missoula, how I miss ye.

Spraying wine out of my nose last night from laughing at the shopping cart comment didn't teach me any lessons. . . I just did it again with water. You damn funny girl.
