FIRST SNOW!

Last night was the first snow of the season! Glorious.

First it rained. Then it snowed. The snow didn't stick until last night, before it just melted as it hit the ground. This morning my car was layered with ice, then snow and sprinkled with leaves. Selma ran two perfect loops into the fresh snow first thing this morning. Like she had it planned to make me smile. Flowers are officially dead, but that is okay, I got two lives from them anyway. Last night, Hubby fired up the pellet stove, and the Chicago Bears pulled a miracle out of their assholes.

I think I will pull out my winter coats and my cross country skis. Don't you think I need these for "winter" boots?

I used to hate winter, so I moved to Phoenix. I moved back and now I try NEVER to complain.
