Trying So HARD not to laugh

Agritourism

Can't stop.

Not that growing lavender doesn't sound enchanting, I am just used to a different brand of agriculture. These memories are full of joy for me, leaning on my grandfather's shoulder dozing as we drive out to catch the horses at 5:00 AM to move cows in the rain. Playing the role of nut bucket during branding. Being kicked in the ribs by sheep while you and your dad try to hold them down for vaccinations. Sexy yes. Worth paying for. Maybe.

I guess when you are from agricultural roots, the thought of that work being a tourist attraction just makes me giggle. I know, I am so snotty some times.

Dwight Schrute is hanging on the agritourism fad to sell his beet farm bed and breakfast. And agritourism just got funnier.
