So we're planning a little SW road trip, since I've never traveled that way before and have always wanted to visit New Mexico and Austin.
We're got plans so far to stop at Durango, CO, Santa Fe, NM, ending in Austin, TX.
Anyone got any ideas of must-sees or must-dos?
I cannot wait to take a real vacation. I believe it has been between 2-3 years since I've taken an entire week off of work.

AUSTIN IS AWESOME. AWESOME AUSTIN. Check for concerts NOW. You might get to hear some really great music in a little dive bar for $5 and get spit on by the lead singer. You should go during the music festival South By Southwest. Great bands outside. HOT MEN. OH my god they're hot. I love that city. IT's the only good thing about Texas. Seriously.
When are you going? Who will accompany you? 2-3 years since vacation - that means you should take 2-3 weeks off!

bdoc is spot on. Austin is probably the best place in all of the US. If i could, i would move there right now.
