Yes Dems took over the House and (probabally) the Senate.

Yes Rumsfeld resigned (technically on 11/8), but thought about it about 11:30 PM EST on the 7th.

Yes South Dakota's abortion ban struck down (I believe the term I would use is MANDATE)!

Yes three other states defeated parental notification laws.

With all of this FABULOUS news, I am most happy about the giant dump truck of foul smelling loser that met Richard Pombo (47%) and Rick Santorum (41%) on Tuesday night. They are easily my LEAST favorite (fmr.) elected public officials. Pombo is an enemy of the environment, he not only worked very hard to repeal the endangered species act, but was the author of all of those bills to sell off public land for private development. He is from California, he is pure evil. Santorum, Santorum, Santorum (don't forget to Google him). Leading the crusade to protect "the family" he worked against the working poor, the elderly poor, single parent and low income families and wrote a TERRIBLE book full of lies.

Rick - snick - hold on - I am laughing here - actually thought - snark - that he was going to run for President ha ha ha ha ha. Has Bush REALLY set the bar that low?

Now if you will excuse me, I need to go write thank you notes to voters in Pennsylvania and California. Thank you kind voters, thank you for protecting our environment and all of those wacky go to work mom type of families.
