Here is my fear, Lamont runs as a Dem, Lieberman runs as an independant, they split the votes on the left and CT sends a Rep. to Congress.
For those of you who ever want to run for an elected position, let the Ned Lamont story be a lesson to you all. Grassroots campaigning, people.
'"The story is really about voters in Connecticut who stood with Ned Lamont," said Tom Matzzie, political director for the antiwar organization MoveOn.org, one of numerous outside groups that promoted Lamont's candidacy. "He went from town to town, house to house, for months. It defined grass-roots campaigning."
The campaign relied heavily on "house parties," or small neighborhood gatherings -- a tactic used in the 2004 presidential campaign, in particular by Dean. Organizers used the events to build their lists of likely voters and add to the volunteer ranks. Eventually, the campaign put the whole system online.'

Leiberman always reminded me of a mean Kermit the Frog. That kiss he shared with Bush was downright scary. I hope he goes DOWN.
