I am back. The south was lovely, at least what I could see from the 6 block radius around my hotel. I didn't know, but Louisville has a "wig district" much like NY has a textile district. We stayed in the wig district - at least that is what WE called it. Seriously, three wig stores within a block of our hotel. Not even kidding, two were even across the street from each other. Since I am basically brain dead from learning about Federal red tape procedures and painting all weekend after I got home, this blog entry has three items, not including the above ramble. I apologize.
1. Where would we be without blogs?
2. My good friend Sid has her own blog, it is pretty much awesome.
3. Oh yeah, and one last thing. How in the HOLY CRAP did Crash win best picture? I have to admit that it was the only best picture nominee that I had seen, but if that was the years best movie, the other nominees must have been giant steaming piles of crap. I hated Crash and it wasn't just for the violence. Now I feel compelled to watch the others that were nominated so I can compare and contrast.

Thanks for the good word about my blog. And I agree about Crash. I'm a dog, after all, and if a dog can't recognize a giant steaming pile of poop who can't? I wish I'd known you were going to be in Wig Country. Even though I'm a dog, I have this fantasy of trying on different identities like Sydney Bristow in ALIAS.
