I am calling out to you - boycott Home Depot Paint Department! Not for socio-political reasons, only because they have YELLED at me and my husband the last 3 times we have been there. Last time, I threw down my paint stick they were supposed to color match and Hubby made a fist and said "How about instead of yelling at us, you try being HELPFUL?!?!" I am not all "the customer is always right" but it is not like Hubby and I understand the secret chemistry behind paint formulas and we need help, not scolding. Seriously, instead of calmly explaining WHY the formula is different for the same paint color on a 5 gallon bucket as it is on a quart, they scream in our faces. We actually considered calling and complaining because it is not like they are going to learn their lesson through our interactions, it has only gotten worse. Perhaps management can be more persuasive. . . or there is always my favorite, a boycott!
Join us in buying paint from your local paint store, I realize the price may be slightly higher, but at least you are supporting a local business.

Oh dear - the reason I wasn't going to Power Townsend is that they suck ASS too. Where to next?
I will say that I had a delightful experience with a man at the paint desk a couple weeks ago (at Home Despot). I hope it wasn't him cuz I might lose all faith in humanity if it is.
I guess it's Sherwin Williams for me next then!!!!
