We here in the government LOOOOVVVVEEE our acronyms - something to do with speaking or writing efficiency. In some documents, our acronym pages are longer than the references pages - how is that for efficiency? Ahhh, I digress.
Here is an acronym that I think everyone can love. ITMFA. It stands for "Impeach The Motherfucker Already" and I think it deserves its own exclamation point! ITMFA! This stemmed from a reader comment to Savage Love. For those of you who don't read Dan Savage's Savage Love published in the Onion, I am sorry for you. If you can get past all of the weird gay sex, there is some totally awesome stuff in there. Dan and his readers were behind the success of the alternative definition of Santorum. It was the American Dialect Society's Most Outrageous Word of the Year in 2004. I absolutely LOVE that "Santorum" made huge press (national and international) making Senator Rick Santorum a gigarkamous laughing stock. Anyway, there is a ITMFA website that will soon be selling ITMFA gear. Right now they are relying on people to make their own. Craft night anyone?!?!
It is a damn shame that all of the gift-giving holidays have already passed. . .

Oh no - even on the ITMFA website, they relinquish the idea that it might ACTUALLY happen, it is just to keep our spirits up until the next election cycle. How awesome are you going to feel when you see someone with ITMFA on their car insted of a jesus fish? Pretty awesome if you ask me.
