Free Katie!

Girl - didn't your mother ever tell you to think for yourself? Apparently not! From MSN.

Will Katie Holmes be a stay-at-home mom?
The buzz is that Tom Cruise wants his wife-to-be to focus on being a wife and a mother — not on her career. He also reportedly wants her to avoid the spotlight for a while. “I said [Katie's] life from now on was going to be about being a mother,” Cruise allegedly said. “I’m not giving her the chance to turn into another Nicole.”

I am mad at work today - so I am blogging.

As the writer Sarah Vowell says in her book "Partly Cloudy Patriot", you don't run with scissors, you don't put your hand on a hot stove burner, you don't take candy from strangers, and YOU DON'T TOUCH TOM CRUISE. This was her maternal instinct reaction when she watched that little kid in Jerry McGuire hug Tom.
Also, Katie, Katie, Katie. There has to be something better in your closet than the upholstry from my grandmother's couch. Seriously.

Yikes Katie. Won't let her turn into another Nicole?! WTF? I guess there's no room to share the spotlight in Tom Cruise land. I remember when Tom was married to Nicole. She disappeared from movies. They get divorced---boom--Nicole does great work and gets Oscar nominations. Guess that's why he has to keep going for younger and younger women then find one whose career is not exactly booming. Then he can control her, and she will quit her career so she can dedicate all her time to him and Scientology. Gross. FREE KATIE!

This picture looks like the perfect candidate for Go Fug Yourself - check it out www.gofugyourself.com. It's good stuff.

And seriously, Tom should just keep his mouth shut if he thinks he's going to be bringing home the bacon to his barefoot and pregnant wife. I refuse to EVER go to a TC movie again. I can't even bring myself to utter that man's name. UGH.
