Scattering Across the Country

So this week I had to come to terms with the loss (in distance) of two of my best friends from college. One is moving from Spokane to Wisconsin, the other from Missoula to Alaska. And they are both moving in March! Now, of course I only want good things to happen to my friends, but, I must also selfishly admit, I will miss them being so close by.

Amanda, my freshman roomie with the Stone Cold Steve Austin poster, who actually got in a fistfight and dislocated some girl's jaw, we bonded the first night at college at my brother's 4-keg house party by peeing in the alley and spent many nights thereafter getting into trouble. Ah how I will miss stopping off in Spokane on my way to the Gorge for an evening full of vodka, board games, and arguing with your Republican family.

Jennica, who lived with me in the shithole that was 1000 Stephens. Too many funny stories to mention--Charlie Chaplin mustache, pot pies, the attempted pool "break-in", Dr. Octopus, the list goes on and on. I will definately miss you being so close and very much appreciated your trips to Helena to visit me.

What a couple of awesome, powerful, funny, strange, wonderful, amazing women! I am so lucky to know you both. Looking forward to a Spokane road trip before Amanda moves on.

Much love beautiful ladies!
