Update on Girls Inc.

Auto posted a while ago about pro-life groups protesting Girls Inc. and the American Girl dolls for Christmas. Girls Inc. and American Girl had recently partnered for a campaign called the "I Can" campaign.

Turns out, Mattel, the maker of the American Girl products, has decided it will not renew its partnership with Girls Inc. when it ends this year.

They caved to a campaign by the American Family Association to end the partnership due to Girls Inc.'s rabid support of killing babies and forcing young girls into lesbianism.

Guess that the radical notion that girls are important and powerful isn't important enough for these assholes to defend.

Mattel denies the protest had anything to do with pulling out of the partnership, stating it was scheduled to be a one-year campaign. Right....what a bunch of crap!

Does this mean that I have to boycott all my Mattel toys? DAMNIT.

I have been boycotting Barbie for decades, ever since my mom grounded me from them and hid them, never to be found again. Sniff, sniff.
More reasons to give your kids sticks, rocks and balls to play with. No pro-lifers are going to cause problems with those types of toys. Oh and imagination.
