As I sit here at my desk listening to Bush’s press conference on the status on the Iraq war I pretty much want to jab my eye out with a pencil to distract my brain from the PAIN of our Nation’s current reality. He actually said “I didn’t want WAR.” Seriously, why then did you send troops over to Iraq and start bombing? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? I am actually depressed right now. I am letting his lies affect me so deeply that it is spurring depression. Come on, kid SNAP out of it, go get some salt water taffy from the receptionist. You have a wonderful life. Everything about your life is sterling. Keep your chin up.
“We have a plan for victory.” He is confident that we have a plan for victory otherwise he would pull our troops out. My ass. I am slipping again – MUST TURN RADIO OFF. Ahhh, the O.C. Mix 4 is making it all better now.
I know that we must be vigilant in the war against Bush (ITMFA), but it is too much for me this morning. Day in and day out it is a stream of bad ideas coming out of Washington. I have to focus what is good in my life. I need some good news. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
