Mu-zak

Sitting in my office way too late on a Tuesday night, I realize how much I enjoy being able to listen to music at work. In my huge 2-person office, there are few rules of office conduct or any such thing, so the ability to listen to whatever music I want to tends to make my days go by faster. It also helps me control my mood. Need a little pick me up after the lunch hour, play some happy punk rock. Need to mellow out after a caffiene overload, play some Dave Matthews or chick rock. Seriously, music makes me happy.

I'm so lucky to be able to have access to any kind of music my heart desires. I love my music program where I can listen to any artist that comes to my mind. Which reminds me, I need to move somewhere where I can listen to better live music. Traveling all the way to the Gorge or Seattle whenever I want to hear a good band, while fun, is expensive and can get annoying. If I have to hear "Ride Around Sally" one more time in Helena, I'm going to throw up. Seriously.

Ahem - dear. You DO have music choices in Helena. There are a wide variety of country stations, christian rock and country stations, butt rock, or light rock (WHATEVER THAT f-ing MEANS!). What more could you ask for?

It isn't that bad, but Sirius radio rules my world. RULZ. Left of Center. It makes me happy.

La la la "I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders. . ." la la la

I'll trade you your Ride Along Sally for my Jethro Tull Bungle in the Jungle...

Oooo...you drive a hard bargain. Really, I bet Montana has one of the highest per capita numbers of classic rock bands in the country.

I should probably not be telling you this, but most security in state offices for their computers is laughable at best and using a program called limewire (that will totally get you fired if you are caught using it...it is known as a haven for piracy and questionable material) you cen get any song EVER in about 30 seconds. I once found Johhny cash and Willie Nelson singing on the road, and Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison in a free form jam that lasted 26 minutes. I say this only because i feel for you, radio in montana is like radio in the eighties, only this time around they play much more Bruce Springstein. Ooooh...Thunder Road. GROAN.
