Not you too!

The latest retail chain in a long line of those that have been refusing birth contol came as a complete shock to me. Are you ready for this? Don't read if you can't handle the consequences. Ok, you've been warned.

A pharmacist at Target recently refused to fill a woman's prescription for Emergency Contraceptives. Emergency Contraception, or EC, is a strong dose of birth control pills that can prevent a preganancy from occurring if taken up to 120 hours after unprotected or unexpected sex. Vigilante pharmacists across the country have decided they know better than women and their doctors, inserting their "morals" into the doctor/patient relationship, and refusing women legal prescription drugs.

Target people....Target. This is one of the few giant chain stores I have been able to shop at fairly free of guilt, and now that's destroyed. What's worse, they're refusing to change their policy on this issue, backing up pharmacists that refuse to dispense birth control to women. Since when was this anyone's business? Where is the movement of pharmacists lecturing and humiliating old men seeking Viagra? It's such bullsh** I can't even handle it.

Luckily, this woman was not in immediate need of EC, rather she was getting it just in case of an emergency.

If you want to voice your concerns about this issue, call the Target customer service line at 1-800-440-0680 to make a customer comment.

I think that the best position for the dems to take in the upcoming election is privacy and right to get your presciptions filled - or are those two the same.

That is such b.s. So are they going to start regulating the sale of condoms as well? I mean doesn't that stop conception from taking place in the first place. People have this myth that the morning after pill causes an abortion. The only thing that little pill does is stop conception from taking place if it hasn't already. Damn, Target is one of my favorite places to shop.
