F-Word

In my attempt to feel better about my body - and maybe even rub off on those around me, friends and co-workers, I am banning the F-word from my language. I hope that with it will go "overweight" "obese" "bigger" etc.

It is f-ing hard. It is an attempt to be nicer to my body, who is very giving to me and it is an attempt not to be judgemental.

I may slip when telling hubby - cut that F* off the chicken before you put it into the pan.

M.P. pointed out - PHAT is still totally legal.

I mentioned that I was reading Perfect Girls. . . here is 10 things you can do to love your body from its author.

Don't read the comments - or do. It just exposes the fact that our femenist sisters have the same diet and exercise hangups.

I have to say that I think you need to stop reading this book. I know that it has a good message, but it is just giving you another thing to feel bad about. Now instead of feeling bad about your body, it is making you feel bad about feeling bad about your body. Double guilt! It is making you focus on the times you are focusing on not liking your body, making it a very conscious feeling instead of it being a semi-conscious feeling.
I'm just sayin.
