If you can't say anything nice. . .

Don't say anything at all. I have been in an incredibly sour mood lately. The legislature is suckiest suckfest ever, until this week when the Senate Public Health Welfare and Safety Committee told McGillvr*y and his bullshit parental notification bill to go outside and eat a bag of dick. That is right, finally some excellent news out of the Legislature. Only to be followed up by a slap in the face to Sportsman and Sportswomen.

Right, only nice things.

Personally, I have been having just about the worst time ever with this job of mine. Besides the move to the basement, I have been sprayed in the face with air freshner, yelled at, screamed at and basically treated like crap, my bitterness meter is pegged. Plus Hubby won't let me quit my job to mow lawns at the golf course, so mean . . . .stay positive. The good news is that I had a job interview on Monday. I thought it went well, we laughed, we made jokes, we talked about being from rural families in eastern MT, then as I walked out of the interview, there sat an old hippie lady in a really bad suit. Shit. She probabally has 8 Gazillion years of experience and a PhD, and they will be forced to give her the job over me. That is what happened to the last job I interviewed for. Stay positive. Last night I had a dream that I got the job. I have very powerful and clear dreams at times, and I think this is a sign. Also, my mom reminded me that last time I went to Moab (we are heading there on Saturday) I recieved a job offer, so we are convinced that it will happen again.

Plus it seems like a lot of my friends are leaving or talking about leaving. But they will be happier, so that is good. I personally don't know how someone could be happy without me in their daily lives, but hey, give it a shot. Hell-town will always welcome you home.

Sorry for the teaser blog - we are gone on a week long float trip next week so blogging will be light again for a while.

Cheers to beers people.

I too am looking for a new job. I had an interview with the State after we got back from Mexico. While we were in Mexico I had a dream that I got the job and they were really excited to have me. So excited that when I demanded all the jerks in your office be fired they did it! And we were both happy :) Sadly though, I got the interview and a week later they sent a (form) letter saying the applicant pool wasn't strong enough. Sorry no firing of you fellow co-workers : (
Have fun rafting next week!
