WASHINGTON — Republican Sen. Conrad Burns said Tuesday that he has no regrets about his failed Senate re-election bid, briefly talking about his narrow loss in a testy exchange with Montana reporters at the U.S. Capitol. It was one of Burns’ first interviews since he conceded defeat in a written statement Nov. 9. Burns rushed through the Capitol building as Democrats, including newly elected Montana Sen. Jon Tester, met nearby to determine their party’s leadership. Burns’ loss to Tester, along with several other Democratic victories last week, gave the party the 51 seats needed to take the majority when the next Congress convenes in January. He stopped only briefly to chastise Montana reporters, saying he was ‘‘taken advantage of.’’ ‘‘Look you guys, I hate to tell you this, but I don’t have anything to say, OK,’’ he angrily told The Associated Press and Lee Newspapers. ‘‘I want to thank you all for your good humor and everything ... you weren’t very honest with me and the only way I can be honest with you is not to say anything.’’ He did not elaborate.
Looks like he has gone to the Judy Martz "blame the media on your bad work" school of loser. Listen here Conrad, you need to take a long look into your own heart of darkness to find the reasons why you lost. You were a bad senator who took bribes from a crook, get a fucking grip.

In my mind, I always thought of Burns as that crazy old man that would chase after those damn kids that rode their bikes on their lawn in his bathrobe with a rake or something. I can just hear him now in fact, all old and geriatric, "That damn punk Tester, is always whackin off in my tool shed! Thems young punks and Tester, ride on my lawn and whack off in my tool shed....(mumble, mumble) damn kids. always...whackin it...tool shed...grumble"
That always brings a smile to my face. Jonathan H Tester, Whackin it in Old man Burns' tool shed.
