First the original article - which made it into syndication across the nation. If you google news the story it ran in every state in the nation. The woman who wrote the original letter to the editor has 8 kids - anyone else thinking what I am thinking - jesus fish?
Secondly, the IR Editoral - "When you’re a teenager, it isn’t easy to keep freaking out your parents’ generation. But don’t worry. They’ll come up with something. They always do.
It’s their job."
Lastly, a letter to the editor from a H.S. kid (who I want to HUG!).
A high school view
I used to be rather put off by the fad of “grinding” at dances. But now I see it as a harmless (teen pregnancies are still down) way to increase intergenerational understanding. Because maybe when they see us dancing, they’ll know how we feel when we see our friends coming home, or not coming home, from wars we didn’t support (but are fighting, dying, and eventually paying for). Maybe their righteous indignation will give them a chance to understand the indignation we feel when we take out a student loan, knowing the rate of interest has been increased to deal with the costs of war. Maybe they’ll even have a taste of how we feel about losing our rights to a president we didn’t elect, and losing our environment to enrich a generation of CEOs that will all be dead by the time the problems hit. So I have this to say to those opposed to grinding — given that you’ve ensured our generation will be busy in the future doing the grim labor of solving the problems handed down to us, can you, just for the moment, let us dance?

yeah, that is all really interresting. button down mofo's upset with simulated sexual activity. predictable. mother of eight upset about this. that was the best part, because i bet she is the kind of person to have 5 kids by 4 different guys and not get a marriage proposal once. although she probably knows what she is talking about, that is if she is talking about being a brain dead cum dumpster.
but the really interresting thing is the doctor that wrote that editorial about Carlin's offensive shows (2 articles below the one from the HS kid). who the fuck did you think you were going to see, Barbara Streisand? it reminded me of Eddie Murphy's bit when Cosby chastized him for being vulgar on stage. all i can say to that guy is, have a coke ans a smile and shut the fuck up.
