Here is my goal two Nalgenes a day. That is one nalgene down before lunch and one nalgene after lunch. 32 oz in the AM and 32 oz in the PM AT WORK. Most dietary guidelines I could find recommend 8 - 8 oz glasses of water per day. That is 64 oz, or two Nalgene bottles (big bottles). Easy! I also need to work on the amount of water I drink at home, but that is another battle for another day.
If you are like me, you sit on your duff 8 hours a day concentrating VERY intensely on work and not much on your personal life. (Ha! Yeah right.) I said to myself, self, you need to do something for YOU while you are slaving away for the MAN. So I decided to healthify (new word, the American dialect society can thank me next year) while I am here. I can't exercise while typing away, nor can I focus on a diet while those bitches at the front continue to supply tasty treats, so I am choosing water.
Who would like to take the water challenge with me? Perhaps I will check in with you in a month and the winner will receive a lovely new nalgene outfitted with NARAL and rafting stickers care of moi. Just let me know that you are on board and keep track of the days you drink 64 oz of water a day while you are at work. Go!

Auto, what can my challenge be? I already drink 4 Nalgenes a day. Oh no, I know my challenge - let's see how many days I can go without eating M&Ms while at work. THAT is a true challenge for me. I'll check in daily to let you know. The tally so far is:
M&Ms 1; Me 0. So far, not so good....
Hello - where are the rest of you omnivores? M&Ms or water. It matters not.
Pursuant to the water thing, is the question ... can a normal healthy person actually consume the recommended daily food groups and amounts as listed by the USDA? Without exploding? Can you actually afford all those fruits and veggies? Signed: Just Curious.
One more thing to add to your "to give up list" to keep trim for the up coming bikini season
MUSKRAT!
