I'm so excited...I get to meet Al Franken on Saturday. I knew that someday being a crazy liberal would pay off!
Any ideas of intelligent things to say? I'm afraid I might revert to immitating Stuart Smiley or something. I don't know how to talk to celebrities. The last celebrity sighting I had involved Uncle Joey from Full House....couldn't even think of anything to say to that tool.
What do you say to someone you actually have respect for?
I just have to remember, they're just a person, and goddammit, I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and people like me!

I'm currently listening to the show live today! How very exciting, my ski buddy is on in a few minutes - what a small fun state this is.

I met Al Franken and his wife at a gala for my hospital. They are very down to earth people. I really hope he goes into politics. He might just be the one to heal the hole in my political heart caused by Wellstone's loss.
SO LET'S HEAR ABOUT IT!!!
