Rachel does not suck.

Apparently, there is a website dedicated to how much Rachel Ray sucks. I couldn't find the webiste, but apparently Newsweek wrote an article about it. She must be a democrat for that type of negative news coverage.

Why do people hate Rachel?

I don’t see any websites out there that are dedicated to how much Emeril sucks, perhaps I should start my own. Bam! I wouldn’t have any fuel though, because I can’t stand him enough to watch.

Which is my recommendation for the anti-fans of Rachel, don’t like her, change the f-ing channel. Yes, her laugh sucks and yes “EVOO” gets old after a while, but damn, that girl can cook and she does it in 30 minutes. She cooks for real people, not those who have had training in the culinary arts. (Quiet shout out to Tyler Florence, he can show me how to cook any day.) Rachel uses pre-washed, bagged, and canned ingredients and doesn’t make you feel like sh*t for using dried spices. You would be SHOCKED at the difficulty of finding flat leafed Italian parsley in H-Town. Try strolling out to your own personal orchard for fresh apples to bake a pie someday, i.e. Barefoot Contessa. Now there is a big momma that makes me want to take the TV out to the garage. “Oh, here I am in my Beamer, driving to the Nantucket fish market for seafood and going home to make homemade jams for my country club friends – la la la.” BLAH!

That is just Rachel’s cooking, she is not a twig, she has weird hair and she is a dork. It gives all of us dorky non-twigs hope for someday having our dream jobs - traveling the world and eating on $40/day. Food TV snobs, be damned, Rachel is awesome. My mom is a TERRIBLE cook and the saying at my dad's house when I was growing up. . . "You cooked it, you take it out." I must credit Rachel with most of my cooking techniques and vernacular.

Can I get a “You Go Girl” for Rachel?

Rachel Ray is one of the few people that I can watch on tv, and she rocks! I get a kick out of her fears of touching the raw chicken, and how she makes food that is for real people. What I don't want to see is that fat f*cker on "Low Carb and Loving It" telling me how I can lose weight and feel great. Hello, you can almost see the grease leaking out of his pasty skin from eating all that bacon and cheese on a DAILY basis. He is unhealthy looking and FAT. Tip to Food Network, if you don't have someone thin promoting an absurd diet trend(one that is out by the way) then don't air it on tv! Keep on rockin Rachel.

Jenkins sent me the link. All they have to bitch about her is that she uses EVOO and chicken stock in everything - free country folks turn off the TV and write your own damn cookbooks.
